Andalusian Colt for Sale

Below is "Lightning", a gorgeous bay two year old Andalusian colt born on a stormy morning on Derby day, May 2006. His sire is the 2002 USDF Grand Prix Amateur Horse of the Year and four times IALHA Dressage National Champion "Brilloso". Bri is Andalusian/Portuguese and 16H. Lightning's dam is Kim's gorgeous and classical 15.3H rose grey pure Terry mare who is a Legionario III granddaughter (1st Andalusian Breyer model horse made of him). See photo of Kim and Tarafina. Lightning has a wonderful personality and should be willing to do whatever you want him to do - pleasure horse, show horse, or stallion, and of course, friend. Kim has done some Clinton Anderson ground work with him. He is a kind horse, willing to please. He is around 15 hands now and should mature around 15.2 hands. He is priced at $12,000 with special consideration given to the person that will give him a forever home.

His dam has a great canter to ride according to Miguel Ralao Duarte of Portugal. His canter seems very much like his dam. Even though Kim no longer has time for showing due to her busy teaching and consultation schedule, she and Tara did score a 69% on their very first training level test.
