    INTRODUCTION HOLISTIC ANIMAL CLASSES

    2 Hour Holistic Animal Care Introduction Workshops

  • Would you like to help your animal (or yourself) live a happier, healthier, and longer life?
  • Holistic animal care focuses on the whole animal – the body, mind, and spirit.
  • Learn how animal communication, reiki, kinesiology, flower essences, aromatherapy, homeopathy, animal massage, and crystal healing can help prevent and solve animal health problems.
  • This is your opportunity to learn how you can help an animal’s physical and emotional health, including behavioral issues, and deepen your bond with animals like never before.
  • This is an ideal workshop for pet owners and animal professionals that are interested in learning about holistic animal care and it may inspire you to attend some holistic animal classes for yourself and the animals in your life.

    • Introduction Workshop Fee

  • The 2 hour introduction workshop is $25 and due prior to the workshop.
  • It is non-refundable. Should you cancel 14 or more days in advance, you may transfer the $25 to another workshop. If you cancel after 14 days, the $25 is forfeited.
  • If you host this workshop at your home or business, the host attends free and receives half of the workshop fees in appreciation for hosting the workshop.
  • Checks, money orders, and Paypal are accepted. When a fundraiser is involved, Paypal is not accepted due to the fees involved.

    • Class Size
    There is not a maximum number of those that can attend. There is a minimum number depending on the location. Everyone will have the opportunity to ask questions.

    Workshop Modalities
    Certificates are awarded for all the workshops (entire workshop must be attended to receive certificate):
  • **Basic Animal Communication & Advanced Animal Communication

    • **Basic and advanced animal communication, nutrition & kinesiology, and reiki I & II are the core holistic animal classes of the certified Lightfoot Way Holistic Care Consultant program (LHACC).

    Private Workshops
  • Private workshops are available for one or two people at Kim's farm, Allison's home or your location and last around 3 hours.
  • Workshops are $250 for one person or $400 for two ($200 each) when done at Kim or Allison's homes since we do not have to travel. Rescuers are $200 for one person or $300 for two ($150 each). Discount only available at their homes.
  • Workshops at your location are $300 for one person or $500 for two ($250 each) and also charged for travel time at the rate of $75 an hour.
  • Contact Kim or Allison if you are interested in a private workshop.

    • Class Size

  • These holistic animal classes are hands on and limited to a small number of participants for a quality and intimate learning experience.
  • Workshops are generally limited to a maximum of 8 people.
  • For special workshops such as fundraisers or those not in the Houston area, the maximum number may be increased and the workshop hours adjusted accordingly.
  • Due to the small class size, some holistic animal classes fill up quickly so it is best to register as soon you know what workshops you are interested in taking.

    • Workshop Bonus
    As a bonus in these holistic animal classes, we teach students the basics of kinesiology, also called muscle testing. This is an incredible technique everyone should know that can benefit themselves, their family, and their animals. Some students have said learning this alone is worth the price of the workshop. This does not replace the all day workshop, but is an introduction.

    Workshop Hours

  • Workshops are 9am-12:30pm, 1:30-5pm or 9am-5pm, unless otherwise stated.
  • Participants are asked to arrive 10 minutes prior to the start time so that the workshop can start on time.
  • It is understood that delays due happen. However, participants are not allowed to arrive more than 15 minutes after the start time or to come for just part of a workshop. If you are late, you may not attend and your deposit is forfeited. While the workshops are fun and enlightening, they are very indepth and attending the workshop for the entire time is vital to the learning experience. You must attend the entire workshop to receive the certificate. If you need to leave early, a certificate will not be awarded.

    • Workshop Locations
    Holistic animal classes are taught by:

  • Kim at her farm, about 30 minutes south of the Houston, Texas medical center off hwy. 288, near Manvel and Alvin, before Angleton
  • and Rummy's Beach Club in Spring.
  • With Allison at Molly's Mutt House at 3410 N. Shepherd in Garden Oaks near the Heights in Houston.
  • and The Earth Sanctuary located at 13424-B Briar Forest Dr. in Houston.
  • With Faith at Dragonfly Cottage in The Woodlands at I-45 and Hwy. 242.

    • Workshop Fees

  • You will see there are 2 prices - advanced registration price and non-advanced registration price. Registering means that you have signed up and paid the deposit. (For discounts, see below.)
  • All day workshops are $125 each if deposit is paid 14 or more days in advance. If less than 14 days in advance, the price is $140. A $75 deposit is required.
  • Half day workshops are $75 each if deposit is paid 14 or more days in advance. If less than 14 days in advance, the price is $85. A $45 deposit is required. Attend 2 half day workshops in one day and pay $125 ($140 if not advance) with a $75 deposit.
  • Level 3 workshops such as reiki 3 are $150 if deposit is paid 14 or more days in adavnce. A $100 deposit is required. If less than 14 days in advance, price is $175.
  • Checks, money orders, and Paypal are accepted. When a fundraiser is involved, Paypal is not accepted due to the fees involved.

    • Cancelation Policy

  • Deposits are non-refundable. If you need to cancel and 14 days or more notice is given (21 days or more for out of town workshops),a $25 transfer fee will allow you to transfer your deposit to another workshop. If less than 14 days notice is given (less than 21 days for out of town workshops), the deposit is forfeited.
  • Should you register for 2 half day workshops in one day and are only able to attend one of the workshops of which notice is given less than 14 days, the classes are then treated as individual classes. Your $75 deposit (normally a $45 deposit for each half day class) will cover the cost of the one class. You will then owe the $45 deposit for the cancelation of the other half day workshop.
  • If you arrive more than 15 minutes past the start time, you may not attend and your deposit is forfeited.
  • We understand illness and emergencies happen but due to the small class size, this is the policy.

    • Workshop Discounts

  • If you are an active animal rescuer/rehabber/fosterer (this information will need to be verified) which includes staff and volunteers with rescue groups, shelters and sanctuaries that help rescue/foster animals on full-time basis, you may receive a discount. These prices cannot be combined with any other discounts offered.
  • All day workshops are $90 if deposit is paid 14 or more days in advance. If less than 14 days in advance, price is $105. A $75 deposit is required.
  • Half day workshops are $60 if deposit is paid 14 or more days in advance. If less than 14 days in advance, price is $70. A $45 deposit is required. Attend 2 half day workshops in one day and pay $90 ($105 if not advance) with a $75 deposit.
  • Level 3 workshops are $115 if deposit is paid 14 or more days in advance. If less than 14 days in advance, price is $140. A $75 deposit is required.
  • Workshop specials are offered at various times.
  • If you are interested in hosting a workshop at your home or business, you will attend free with a minimum number of paid participants. We teach in other states and countries. Contact us for more information.

    Basic Animal Communication Workshops

    This is the most popular workshop! Everyone has the ability to communicate with animals. It is only a matter of awakening this ability inside yourself. Through meditations and exercises, you will learn how to communicate with animals in just one day!
  • If you have ever wanted to know what your animal is thinking, feeling, their life purpose, or how to help them with a behavioral or physical condition, this workshop is for you. Being able to communicate with animals can help you understand them better.
  • You can use your intuitive abilities to assist with the animal’s general care, handling, or training.
  • Animals can be communicated with by distance which means you can do this from wherever you are – on a business trip, vacation, or the comfort of your home.
  • A group situation provides an ideal learning environment.
  • Through photos of workshop participants' animals and a live animal, you will learn to communicate with animals, including those that are in spirit.
  • Deepen your bond with your animals and experience your relationship like you have never done before.

    • Advanced Animal Communication Workshops

    Take your animal communication skills and your relationship with animals to the next level. In this advanced workshop you will:
  • Receive an attunement that opens up your intuitive abilities even more
  • Do a special meditation that will help you on your journey of communicating with animals
  • Learn how to get answers to more complex questions
  • Learn how to help resolve behavioral issues through problem resolution
  • Learn how to determine what physical issues are affecting an animal
  • Participants will work with photos of animals.

    Reiki I for People & Animals Workshops

    The Lightfoot Way Reiki 1 for People must be taken before Reiki I for Animals. This is so that you totally understand and are comfortable with the techniques used as we build off of them in our animal class. You will also have experience using the healing energy on people before you use it in depth on the animals, which allows learning additional healing techniques for animals more easily.

    In the Reiki I workshops you will:

  • Learn the Usui reiki history
  • Learn the benefits of reiki I, including self-healing
  • Learn about energy chakras for people and animals
  • Receive the reiki I attunement
  • Learn the reiki I techniques
  • Learn how to use the reiki I symbols
  • Learn how to do reiki on one another in the people workshop
  • Learn how to do reiki on animals in the animal workshop and you can bring your animal
  • You learn additional energy techniques in the animal workshop
  • Learn what happens after a reiki session and attunement
  • Custom made pendulums for checking energy chakras and sage for cleansing will be available for purchase.

    • Reiki I for People Workshops are being

  • Sun. September 12th at Kim's farm
  • Sun. November 14th at Kim's farm

    • Reiki I for Animals Workshops are being
    held from 9am-5pm as follows:
  • Sun. September 26th at Kim's farm

    • Reiki II for People and Animals Workshops

    If you have taken the Reiki I workshops, consider taking Reiki II. There needs to be a minimum of 21 days between the time you take Reiki I for People and Reiki II. In this workshop you will:
  • Receive attunements that will increase your energy level
  • Learn how to do reiki at a distance, sending the healing energy to any person, any animal, anywhere in the world
  • Learn to work with the angels
  • Learn how to check and balance chakras on people and animals
  • Offer distance reiki to people and animals
  • Bring photos of people and animals you would like to do distance healing work on
  • Custom made pendulums for checking energy chakras and sage for cleansing will be available for purchase.

    • Reiki II for People & Animals Workshops are being
    held from 9am-5pm on:
  • Sun. October 10th with Allison at Molly's Mutt House

    • Reiki III/Master for People and Animals Workshops

    If you have taken the Reiki II workshop, consider taking Reiki III. This is important for those that especially want to teach others. There needs to be a minimum of 21 days between the time you take Reiki II and Reiki III. In this workshop you will:
  • Receive attunements that will increase your energy level
  • Learn a number of additional energy techiques
  • Learn how to attune both people and animals
  • There will be plenty of time to practice attuning people and animals and the new techniques
  • You may bring your animal to attune or practice energy work.

    Nutrition & Kinesiology Workshops

  • Basic nutritional needs for dogs, cats, and horses.
  • Advanced nutritional needs for animals with special conditions such as cancer or arthritis.
  • How to conduct kinesiology to determine the proper nutrition for animals and people.
  • How to use kinesiology to determine the proper topical products for animals and people.
  • How to use kinesiology to determine if you or an animal is allergic to a certain food or product.
  • If you do not have a certain food or product but want to know if it is right for you or your pet, no problem – there is a way to test that!
  • How to do muscle testing on yourself, others, and your animals. You will be amazed at how this can change the life of animals, your own, and others!
  • So, bring your animal, food, and any other products you want to test on yourself or your pet. If you have other animals, you can bring a photo of them.

    Messages from Animals: Animal Spirit Guides/Totems & Shapeshifting Workshops

    To learn more about animal spirit guides and shapeshifting, please click here. This is our newest workshop. Everyone gets messages from animals but do we hear them? Animals want to help us and just like angels or spirit guides we can also haev animal spirit guides but we must open the channels of communication for them to come to us. Through meditations and movement, you will learn how to listen for messages from animals and how to begin to practice shapeshifting.
  • If you have ever wanted an animal totem or perhaps you already sense you have one but are not sure? This workshop will discuss what a totem is and how you can listen for your own.
  • You will learn to look for signs from the animals and the meanings of the signs.
  • You will learn to use your imagination and your creativity in movement, both guided and improvised for your own experience with shapeshifting.
  • Find clarity and deeper communication with all animals and all living things by practicing physical, emotional, mental and spiritual communion with the animals.
