HOLISTIC ANIMAL CARE INTRODUCTION CLASSES

Would you like to help your animal live a happier, healthier, and longer life? Learn how animal communication, reiki, animal massage, Bach flower essences, aromatherapy, homeopathy, and kinesiology can help prevent and solve your pet health problems. Holistic animal care focuses on the whole animal – the body, mind, and spirit. This is your opportunity to learn how you can help your animal’s physical and emotional health, including behavioral issues, and deepen your bond with your pet like never before. Workshops are held at Kim's farm (30 minutes south of the Houston,Texas medical center off hwy. 288 near Manvel/Alvin) or you can host one at your home, farm, or business.

The 2 hour introduction workshop is $25. If you host this workshop at your home or business, the host attends free and receives half of the workshop fees in appreciation for hosting the workshop.

HOLISTIC ANIMAL HALF DAY & ALL DAY CLASSES

Kim also teaches animal communication, animal reiki, canine massage, equine massage, Bach flower essences, aromatherapy, homeopathy, crystal healing, and kinesiology holistic animal classes. Certificates are awarded for all half day and full day workshops. Normally, the all day workshops are $115 each for adults and $75 for children 13-17 years old ($45 deposit required) and half day workshops are $65 for adults and $45 for children 13-17 years old ($25 deposit required).

However, if you host a workshop at your house, farm, or business, you can attend free if you have 4-6 paying people (depends on travel time). Besides helping your animal's health, these holistic animal classes can help you improve your relationship with your animal like never before. As a bonus in the all day workshops, Kim teaches her students the basics of kinesiology, also called muscle response testing. This is an incredible technique everyone should know that can benefit themselves, their family, and their animals. Some students have said learning this alone is worth the price of the workshop.

Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) for People & Animals EFT is a breakthrough method to help people and animals resolve all kinds of problems – fears, post-traumatic stress disorder, pain, illness, anxiety, etc. It is energy based so there are no side effects, just some really possible awesome results. You must understand that all negative emotions stem from an energy disturbance in the body. If the negative emotions block the energy flow, this can lead to illness. EFT uses acupressure points to free up the energy blockages. It’s amazing and simple! Anyone can do it, including children. This workshop will be taught by myself and Helen Racz , a professional EFT practitioner. (Because of the way this workshop works, the class size is not limited to 6 people.)

Basic Animal Communication Workshops
Kim teaches people how to communicate with animals in a class situation at her farm or your home/farm, since people tend to learn animal communication better this way. Her classes are limited to just 6 people to ensure an intimate and quality learning experience. This is something that is inside all of us and everyone can reawaken. It is not just for the gifted. If you have ever wanted to know what your animal is thinking, feeling, their life purpose, or how to help them with a behavioral or physical condition, this workshop is for you. A group situation provides an ideal learning environment. Through photos of workshop participants' animals and a live animal, you will learn to communicate with animals, including those that are in spirit. Deepen your bond with your animal and experience your relationship like you have never done before.

Animal Reiki Workshops Reiki I for People and Animals Workshops
Kim teaches owners how to provide reiki for people and animals in a class situation or private instruction at her farm or your home/farm. Class size is limited to just 6 people to ensure an intimate and quality learning experience. Reiki for animals and people helps heal physically, mentally, emotionally, and even spiritually. If your pet has emotional problems due to a traumatic situation, reiki can help release and heal those emotions. For behavioral issues such as nervousness or hyperactivity, it can help your pet relax and reduce their stress and anxiety. If your pet is sick or injured, reiki can help your pet heal more quickly. If your pet is facing a serious illness, it can help bring comfort and be a great complement to other forms of treatment. If your beloved pet is dying, reiki can help bring peace and comfort to you and your pet during this difficult time. Level I gives you the ability to do reiki on yourself, others, and animals, and is especially important for self-healing. Participants will learn how to do reiki on themselves, one another, and several animals at the farm.

Reiki II for People and Animals Workshops
If you have taken a Reiki I workshop, consider taking Reiki II. (A copy of the certificate is required if you have taken Reiki I from another Reiki teacher. There needs to be a minimum of 21 days between the time you take Reiki I and Reiki II.) You will receive attunements that will increase your energy level, allow you to do reiki at adistance, and work with the angels. Learn how to check and balance chakras on people and animals. Participants will work on each other, animals, and perform distance work. You may bring your animal in a carrier.

Canine Massage Workshops Kim teaches one day workshops for equine and canine massage that offer a solid foundation in massage techniques and are ideal for you to see if you want to pursue further education such as a 5 day or longer course. Kim can recommend instructors that teach more extensive courses.

Just like with people, massage can help maintain and improve your dog's physical and mental health. Massage can:

Improve joint flexibility and muscle tone, which can be beneficialfor older and performance animals.

Improve your pet's attitude and ability to focus, which can affect behavior, training, and performance.

Help pets with behavior problems by gaining their trust, calming a nervous or hyper pet, helping a shy pet feel more secure, and relaxing a dominant or aggressive pet.

Help those recovering from injuries, reduce recovery time from soft tissue injuries, providing relief from muscle soreness/spasms.

Help relieve pain and discomfort associated with conditions such as arthritis and hip dysplasia.

If given prior to a chiropractic adjustment, it helps the adjustment go in more easily and be longer lasting.

Participants will be able to practice on a dog accustomed to massage and also bring their own dog to work on.

Kinesiology/Muscle Testing Workshops Kinesiology, also called muscle response testing, is the science and art of movement in the body. It is a method used by holistic vets, naturopathic doctors, chiropractors, and nutritionists working in private health food stores. Muscle testing uses the muscle system of a person or animal’s body in the presence of a product as a source of information. Some refer to it as body wisdom. Want to know if you are feeding your animal the right food or supplements? Want to find out if the shampoo you are using is good for your pet? Want to find out if you or your pet are allergic to a certain food or product? Muscle testing can help you find the answers. It can even help you determine the proper amount of a product. So, bring your pet, food, and any other products you want to test on yourself or your pet. If you have other animals, you can bring a hair sample in a ziplock type baggie. If you do not have a certain food or product but want to know if it is right for you or your pet, no problem – there is a way to test that! You will learn how to do muscle testing on yourself, others, and your animals. You will be amazed at how this can change your life and the life of your pets. (This is a more indepth workshop than the basics Kim teaches in the all day workshops.) The muscle testing CD will be available for purchase for $15. Bach Flower Essences & AromatherapyBach flower essences were created by Dr. Edward Bach, a London MD. He realized flowers had healing properties. Flower essences are commonly used on animals with emotional/behavioral issues by many professional animal communicators. Since many physical health problems with people and animals are due to emotional issues, essences have the ability to resolve some of these conditions. Aromatherapy is the use of essential oils which are extracted from flowers, leaves, stems, roots, bark, seeds or fruit of the plant. Documented veterinary remedies date back to the 18th century. While essential oils can be used to help with emotional and spiritual issues, they are also helpful with physical issues such as wounds, skin conditions, joint problems, circulatory issues, and parasites. Learn how the 39 Bach flower remedies and the most common essential oils used with animals can benefit your pet’s health, how to make a custom blend, administration techniques, and precautions. For an additional fee, you can bring your dog or a hair sample from your pet in a ziplock type baggie and create a custom Bach flower essence or essential oil remedy. To make a custom Bach flower or aromatherapy remedy will be $18 each. Bach Flower Essences & Aromatherapy Workshops are being held on Sundays from 9am-5pm as follows:

Crystal Healing for Animals The use of crystals dates back to at least 25,000 BC. Today, even the medicine men or shamans of the American Indians, Aborigines, and Bushmen still use stones and crystals. Scientists have proven that crystals emit a certain energy vibration. All crystals have healing properties that can help people and animals. Crystals can help with

Physical conditions such as wounds, digestive problems, arthritis, inflammation, pain, allergies, respiratory conditions, and circulatory problems.

Emotional conditions such as anxiety, shyness, fear, aggression, compulsive behavioral issues, and hormonal imbalances.

Learn the healing benefits of many crystals, the various ways to offer them, and how to take care of them properly. For an additional charge, you can bring your dog or a hair sample in a ziplock type baggie and make a custom pendant for your animal to wear on their collar/halter. Sage is a way to cleanse your crystals and will be available for $5.

Homeopathy for AnimalsHomeopathy is an affordable healing system developed by Samuel Hahnemann over 200 years ago that addresses the emotional and mental reasons behind an illness. Homeopathy has been used on people for many years and is becoming more recognized as an alternative treatment for animals. Many holistic vets and pet owners use homeopathic remedies because they can help heal their pets of many emotional and physical health problems. Homeopathy is based on the premise that any substance that can produce a certain set of symptoms in a healthy person or animal will cure those same symptoms in a sick person or animal. The difference between pharmaceutical drugs and homeopathic remedies is that drugs treat the symptoms and homeopathy treats the cause of the symptoms. Bring your dog or a hair sample from your pet in a ziplock type baggie and come learn how these little, tasteless, dissolving pills can help solve many of your animal’s health issues. The homeopathy book used in class will be available for purchase for $22. Animal homeopathy kits will be available for purchase for $55.
