2 Hour Holistic Animal Care Introduction Workshops
Would you like to help your animal live a happier, healthier, and longer life?Holistic animal care focuses on the whole animal – the body, mind, and spirit.Learn how animal communication, reiki, kinesiology, flower essences, aromatherapy, homeopathy, animal massage, and crystal healing can help prevent and solve animal health problems.This is your opportunity to learn how you can help an animal’s physical and emotional health, including behavioral issues, and deepen your bond with animals like never before.This is an ideal workshop for pet owners and animal professionals that are interested in learning about holistic animal care and it may inspire you to attend some holistic animal classes.
Workshop Fee
The 2 hour introduction workshop is $25 and due prior to the workshop. It is non-refundable but transferable to another workshop one time.If you host this workshop at your home or business, the host attends free and receives half of the workshop fees in appreciation for hosting the workshop.
Checks, money orders, and Paypal are accepted. When a fundraiser is involved, Paypal is not accepted due to the fees involved.
Class Size
There is not a maximum number of those that can attend. Everyone will have the opportunity to ask questions.

**Basic and advanced animal communication, nutrition & kinesiology, and reiki I & II are the core holistic animal classes of the
certified Lightfoot Holistic Animal Care Consultant program (LHACC).
Class Size
These holistic animal classes are hands on and limited to a small number of participants for a quality and intimate learning experience.Workshops are generally limited to a maximum of 7 people.For special workshops such as fundraisers or those not in the Houston area, the maximum number may be increased and the workshop hours adjusted accordingly.Due to the small class size, some holistic animal classes fill up quickly so it is best to register as soon you know what workshops you are interested in taking.To read testimonials from students who have attended Kim's holistic animal classes,

Workshop Bonus
As a bonus in these holistic animal classes, Kim teaches her students the basics of kinesiology, also called muscle testing. This is an incredible technique everyone should know that can benefit themselves, their family, and their animals. Some students have said learning this alone is worth the price of the workshop.
Workshop Hours
Workshops are 9am-5pm unless otherwise stated.Participants are asked to arrive by 8:50am so that the workshop can start on time.It is understood that delays due happen. However, participants are not allowed to arrive more than 15 minutes after the start time or to come for just part of a workshop. While the workshops are fun and enlightening, they are very indepth and attending the workshop for the entire day is vital to the learning experience.
Workshop Locations
Holistic animal classes are held at Kim's farm, about 30 minutes south of the Houston, Texas medical center off hwy. 288, near Manvel and Alvin, before Angleton.Workshops are also held at
Molly's Mutt House
at 1726 W. 23rd in the Heights in Houston. Other locations vary.
Workshop Fees
US workshops are $125 each with a $75 deposit required. If you are unable to attend, the deposit is non-refundable but transferable to another workshop one time.Canadian workshops are US $150 each or $250 for the weekend. Payment is due in full 30 days prior to the workshop. A $50 non-refundable administrative fee per workshop is applicable if cancellation is made 8 or more days prior to the workshop. For 7 days or less, a $100 non-refundable administrative fee per workshop is applicable. The administrative fee is waived only if someone is able to attend in your place.Checks, money orders, and Paypal are accepted. When a fundraiser is involved, Paypal is not accpeted due to the fees involved.
Workshop Discounts
If you are an active animal rescuer (this information will need to be verified), you may attend a workshop for $90 with a $75 deposit. This discount can't be combined with any other discounts. The deposit is non-refundable but transferable to another workshop one time.Workshop specials are offered at various times.Those enrolled in the certified Lightfoot Holistic Animal Care Consultant Program receive a discount as part of the package.If you are interested in hosting a workshop at your home or business, you will attend free with a minimum number of paid participants.

Basic Animal Communication Workshops
This is the most popular workshop! Everyone has the ability to communicate with animals. It is only a matter of awakening this ability inside yourself. Through meditations and exercises, you will learn how to communicate with animals in just one day!
If you have ever wanted to know what your animal is thinking, feeling, their life purpose, or how to help them with a behavioral or physical condition, this workshop is for you. Being able to communicate with animals can help you understand them better.You can use your intuitive abilities to assist with the animal’s general care, handling, or training.Animals can be communicated with by distance which means you can do this from wherever you are – on a business trip, vacation, or the comfort of your home.
A group situation provides an ideal learning environment.Through photos of workshop participants' animals and a live animal, you will learn to communicate with animals, including those that are in spirit.Deepen your bond with your animals and experience your relationship like you have never done before.

Reiki I for People & Animal WorkshopsReiki 1 for People must be taken before Reiki I for Animals. This is so that you totally understand and are comfortable with the techniques used. You will also have experience using the healing energy on people before you use it in depth on the animals, which allows learning additional healing techniques for animals more easily.
In the Reiki I workshops you will:

If you have taken the Reiki I workshops, consider taking Reiki II. There needs to be a minimum of 21 days between the time you take Reiki I for People and Reiki II. In this workshop you will:
